SPI Standard Recreational trawls are built with a #7 / 1-1/2"  Stretch mesh (Trawls can be built to meet individual State requirements) in the body, full cut, hung on poly-dacron non-Stretch rope with loop chain on bottom. SPI Nylon Shad Trawls An excellent net for scooping shad to us as bait. Made from nylon netting with galvanized hoop, 4 foot brail lines and a 35 foot tow line. Bottom is slightly flat so that shad is not mashed into the bottom and pressed through the mesh. Brail and tow lines are #84 braided nylon (600lb test), complete and READY TO FISH. SPI Tickle Chains
A tickle chain is attached to the front of the trawl when fishing for flounder, crabs or when shrimp are moving
along the bottom. The tickle chain brings the shrimp and ground fish up so the trawl does not pass over them.
Comes with two shackles.
